“Phoebe in Winter” by Jen Silverman is about family roles and expectations. This play takes place Elsewhere and Elsewhen, after something unknown has happened. This was displayed in the costumes through distressing, mismatched pieces, and out of time clothing.I pulled from western, midcentury, and euro-modern fashion to create a design language that feels familiar for the original family and not quite right for Phoebe and the returning Liam.
